Rod Holder for Yeti

Single fishing rod holder designed to securely mount to the infamous YETI® LoadOut® bucket

The rod holder itself is injection molded with UV stabilized HDPE plastic…just like the YETI® LoadOut® bucket itself. This ensures the rod holder will hold up over many years on the water and under the intense sun.

The frame is made of laser cut and precision bent Aluminum for increased strength and rigidity, while remaining lightweight enough to carry to the end of the pier, jetty or to your favorite honey hole. The unit is assembled with stainless steel hardware to help prevent corrosion in saltwater environments. There is also a single rubber foot at the bottom to provide grip to the rod holder and prevent damage to the bucket itself.

The optional gimbal cross-pin interfaces with the rod butt and prevents it from sticking out the bottom of the rod holder. The gimbal cross-pin comes with a stainless lock nut but its fully removable.

The unit mounts to the YETI® LoadOut® bucket with single bent hook that hangs from the AnchorpointTM tie-down slot on one side of the bucket. A 3/16” marine-grade bungee cord then wraps around the bucket and secures to a nylon j-hook.

Obviously, the weight of whatever you put in the YETI® LoadOut® Bucket (water, ice, cast net, etc.) helps determine the stability of the rod holder. The single rod holder is best for rigging up, baiting, rod storage. While it certainly can be used for casted baits, it would be best suited for lighter rods and light drag.
