The Shimano SLX Baitcasting Reels are Shimano's latest offering in the North American market, priced just under triple digits. Featuring advanced technologies and a sleek design, the SLX stands out this holiday season. Available in essential bass fishing gear ratios (6.3:1, 7.2:1, and 8.2:1), the SLX handles a variety of techniques, from flipping and frogging to deep cranking and drop shotting. It has a 4-bearing system with one reverse bearing and a maximum drag of 12 lbs. The Variable Brake Adjustment (VBS) system virtually eliminates backlashes. With Shimano's Hagane body, the SLX ensures strong performance without tilting or warping despite its lightweight design. Available in both left and right-hand retrieve options.
