These reels utilize Penn's Dura-Drag material, which includes a unique Phenolic bonding agent to prevent the premature breakdown of the carbon fiber and offer a water-resistant barrier. Each drag washer is pretreated with a special compound developed by PENN engineers to ensure smooth and reliable drag performance.
