Mangum's Original Dragon Tails are ultra-wiggly, high-action fly tying tails designed for maximum movement in the water, making them perfect for large predator flies. Developed in the saltwater environment by David Mangum, these UV2-coated tails enhance visibility and trigger strikes with their dynamic, undulating motion. The Original Dragon Tails measure 7 inches in length with a 3/4-inch diameter midsection, making them ideal for larger flies on 1/0 hooks and up. For versatile tying, they can also be cut down to accommodate smaller hooks. Perfect for snake patterns, large rodent imitations, and other high-motion streamer patterns, these tails offer a realistic, attention-grabbing action that's hard for fish to resist.
